Regarding the article posted July 16th. It is an interesting  story but it is not  true. The club that came into Lennie's that day was the Insane Deuces not the  Spanish Lords. And yes we did lose a sweater that day. The two LGL's that were beaten were Hillbilly & Lil Bates. The reason they were beaten and we lost a sweater is because they were out numbered five to one. This incident happened in 1974 not  25 years ago.I know this to be true because I am a retired LGL (started in 1969)and my wife, who is Hillbilly's sister, was there when they put 8 stitches in his head.
