This message goes out to the so called author of, "My Bloody Life," the Latin King story. I'm guessing that with two books written by you related to a Chicago gang, and with a web page, that you are on the computer often. You probably check your book sale progress over the computer and/or check out message boards to see what others are saying about your book. I am hoping by chance that you come across this message posted by me. Your book has many rumors circulating about. The rumors basically coincide with one general idea. This idea is that the story is a bunch of lies intertwined with facts. Those facts being nothing that you had a part in. For instance, you stated in your book that a Chi West gang member threw a girl in front of bullet meant for him. After checking with ex high ranking members of the Chi West, it was found that this story was false. Also, the story of three Moffat and Campbell Gaylords getting destroyed, seems to be false. Only one Moffat and Campbell Gaylord was murdered by Latin Kings and his name was Harpo. Your story on the three Gaylords may be generated or developed from the real Harpo incident but if its is, it sounds embellished. I would also like to state that I found the story of the Gaylords attacking innocent Puerto Ricans by a park a little peculiar. If you have any factual evidence to prove this story and any of the other stories, why dont you post them on your site. As a matter of fact, I challenge you to come out with a statement or any evidence for viewing to give your book credibility. It is also rumor that your book was written by a female, the same educated female that you make lots of references to in your second book. Her character comes off as educated and also a racist, which is the general idea your second book seems to revolve around. The book also has two much touchy feelings like a woman wrote it. I personally believe a woman did write this book and the other, hence the common nic name and totally false author name. In closing, I would additionally like to add that I heard that the Latin Kings Nation has denounced this book, which I got from a pretty reliable source.
