Rocker, I just finished your book, and as an original Lawndale Lord and Gaylord, I was very impressed. What we started back then sure lasted it a long time. I lived in the apartment building on the s/w corner of L/A and hung with some righteous brothers. I went to Lane and hung at Lennies and met many Stoned Greasers and bangers from all the gangs there. The book brought back many old memories, some good and otherwise. I see many old freinds posting here and am glad you have this site. Those days are years in the past, but are a part of all we are today. It's called the crucible of life. The fire tests all who enter and we are what's left afterwards. Having gone through those times and experiences are what the book's about. For those who have never lived that life, be glad! Those of us who've be there and done that, we'll always share that common bond that others will never understand. This is a bond that all bangers have no matter what hood you were in, it's all the same. For us it'll always be a Nation of Lords. Hunts
