After waiting almost 2
weeks for the book, I
finally received it
and it was one of the
best books that I have
ever read - I
definitely couldn't
put it down. Though I
really didn't know any
of the guys from LA, I
personally knew Rocker
and it was amazing
hearing his story. I
actually didn't meet
Rocker until he went
to Kilbourn for those
were the guys that I
hung out with
(Kilbourn and
Newport). But reading
the book showed me how
life really was for
these guys. I was
fortunate enough never
to be there when any
of these fights
occured - I pretty
much was just one of
the girls hanging out
with the guys - but I
now understand a
little bit better on
how things really
were - the behind the
scenes stuff. Just
wanted to commend
Rocker on the
wonderful book and
wish him well! Thanks

So i'm sitting here early in the morning some 4hrs after searching google and piecing together my memories after reading L-O-L and came across this posting...Like Dawn, my hangings were mostly w/ KP and NP but I'm wondering if any of the last standing/younger LA guys are mentioned in the KP book, as I can't get my friggin hands on it yet. I remember alot more of them from after your time I guess as I was there from 86-88'. I so remember that sad day that David passed and just balled when that part came in the book. I so wanted to skip over it. I couldn't put it down and finished in all of 3 days. (with restless nights of dreams of back in the day)So many times I was like "why didn't he mention this or that" and then a few pages later, it'd be there. Like when Anna got shot I was like how can he not remember that or where was he then, (but I guess by your timeline you were gone from there and onto KP hood) but then there it was, on the last pages...ok, enough rambling...to my point.. I thought somewhere on some page I read there was a sequel? Bourn something or other? and after reading a few blogs Im also wondering if "Wiz". is who I think he is...one of the LA's from my time, as Krista was named and I belive she was dating K_ _ _ _, I know somewhere I saw her in a pic w/him. Also my good friends brother Scott...I friggin ramble to much damn it... I so can't put the nick names together with the names..I just remember 1st names mostly...I do remember "Mouse" from LA though, kinda made me laugh when you said you didn't want that name. I remember hanging at Zig's waiting for him to come around...also...1 last ?...not sure if you'll read this and answer back or just delete my friggin shit..but I had thought Smurf was a "younger" LAGL..I remember Jeff having that name..im sure I shouldn't be putting names in here but I'm sure you'll delete what's appropriate. Much love to you, can't wait to read KP and see if you have the friggin C-Mal's in there..lol...good times, good memories, some quite sad, but more good then bad.
