Great website! Even though I was a north side Pope back in the late 80's. The old Popes had some pretty big wars with the GL'S. I never got into it with them, maybe once or twice when I hung around with Lil Buzz from Albany and Skool SCR's. With me it was mainly KK in those days. Today I'm completely out of that crap teaching young people to make better lives for themselves.

received a letter from a legendary Gaylord known as Monster, he's been sitting in Cook County jail for over 26 months.He sends his love and respect to all past and present members of the Almighty Gaylord Nation.Monster tells me that all LORDS (Vice and Spanish)are standing tall with our Nation.Rocker's book "Lords of Lawndale" is becoming a must read item.The Vicelords want to know if it's in the bookstores yet? Professor wants to let the Uptown Lords, S/M know that he's in county Let's not forget our Bros that are locked up over the holidays.

FROM THE WEBSITE: The book "LORDS OF LAWNDALE" is infested with lots of mistakes. These mistakes are in the form of grammar. The author was in a rush to complete the book because there was a dead line that he was trying to meet, which was a reunion of some of the actual characters in the book. Because of the mad rush to meet the dead line, the mistakes occurred through the editor. The author feels bad about this and is going to make it up by revising the book. This should take three weeks. Along with the grammar corrections, the author is going to institute new photos and some new text. The author would like to extend his apologies to all who had the burden of reading the book with the difficulties of the grammar in place. Thank you.

Just got word that an old friend, one of the Marquette Park Gaylords, died of
cancer on Halloween. God rest you, Gip, and say hi to Buck for me when you catch up to him!

Disiples and other old bangers from the 70's and 80's.

Also, any old GL and/or Greasers from Haugan School yard from the
early 70s out there?
